CRAFT NAVIGATIONS TRAINNING

State Enterprise Inland Waterways Directorate is accredited by the Lithuanian Maritime Safety Administration to organize recreational craft navigators and inland waterway transport specialists training.

The training is led by experienced specialists with many years of experience in inland waters, maritime, recreational and passenger navigation.

Practical training of recreational craft navigators is carried on 18-meter ship “Patrimpas” and especially for training adapted ship of 6 meter of length.

Recreational Craft Navigation Trainning

Training programs

For individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to sail motorized recreational craft without an engine power restrictions in inland waters of the Republic of Lithuania, except water bodies where it is equipped inland waterways – 20 hours.

For individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to sail motorized recreational craft without an engine power restrictions in inland waters of the Republic of Lithuania, in inland waterways and territorial sea limits – 68 hours.

For individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to sail motorized recreational craft without an engine power restrictions in inland and sea waters – 140 hours.

In-service training programs

Navigators who has right to sail motorized recreational craft without an engine power restrictions in inland waterways and territorial sea limits and now they are seeking to acquire the right to sail in inland and sea waters – 70 hours.

The practical part of the sailing (for individuals who have externally passed the recreational craft navigator’s theory exam in Lithuanian Maritime Safety Administration) – 12 hours.
